My pen is the instrument of my sanity

That keeps me on the brink of humanity

Hidden by the canopy

I swear I don't hear any profanity

All I hear, is the positive...Forget the negative

I forget what it is, where it is,

I just start new biz...........ness

Looking at my wrist

Time keeps getting brisk

It keeps getting colder

But I keep getting bolder

Then I give the non-believers the cold shoulder

But I keep friends close

And family closer

I keep them warm to my heart...like a toaster

It 's been an emotional roller coaster

But I wish someday I could get closer

To the stars-summer solstice

Love me or hate me

I'm still gonna be me

Taking things by chance

It's like being trapped in a cast

you can't wait to get out

and you have no doubt

That what you did to get in the cast

You will leave in the past

Meaning you live and you learn

'Cause when life is concerned

We sit and we think

What life could possibly want

But for you to make a change

To make a new page

'Cause when you're in trouble, 

Clear your thoughts

Before they're caught and twisted and manipulated

And things become complicated

When things like that become faded

Things become related between good decisions and mistakes

and don't leave the mistakes

As this world spins round and round

It could never make a sound

From the ground to the sky

The truth can’t be a lie

And as the truth is told

The world will unfold, to endless possibilities

Only room for correction

One day

One day I see myself becoming great

Seeing the world through its fire eyes

And feeling the cold through its freezing heart

Staring down through the pit of death

Looking into evils eyes

Letting him know that he won’t stop me

Even if I was trapped in a whirl wind of fire

Or, if I was frozen in a block of ice

Evil won’t stop me

So understand that one day I will be great

Living everyday like it was my last

But knowing everyday is the start of something new
