I am Benjy, one of the many caretakers that take care of a child that has been separated from his parents at birth, only knowing their first names. It is now the year 2062 and we have been in living in the dark ever since our ancestors started telling the stories of the sun being extremely dangerous. So we live in underground community that is split up into 7 sections; which are all connected through this place we call The Underground. All sections are run by The House which is in the heart of section seven. The House is controlled by these people called The Force who oversee all of the 7 sections. No one knows how The Force came in to power but right now it doesn't matter; because at this moment in time I need to make sure that the boy I care for has a fantastic seventeenth birthday.


Part 1 The Beginning



I am Asher and I live in section 1 and that is all I have to my name. I don't know my parents, I don't know if I have any siblings, I don't even know my last name. All I know is I need to get out of this place; these tunnels will be the death of me. I need a change.  I need to see the outside and meet my one phone friend outside of her section named Ellie. She lives in section 3 which was once called the sunshine state. She is also a whiz at being persuasive, I know this from prior phone calls other then that I don't know much about her. when we talk we keep it simple and try not to bring up living in the dark, not knowing our parents, and especially not her caretaker. Her caretaker hasn't been there a whole lot for Ellie. So she has told me. Her name is Alice and she is whacked out of her mind. She has been sitting in a chair at their kitchen table ever since she has been beating half to death by three force officer. I never knew what she did but i guess the force has there reasons. So if you think about Ellie has been a caretaker for herself her whole life. As for me I need to experience life beyond these tunnels. My caretaker Benjy does not think its a good idea to leave. He still fears our ancestors stories, he believes that their not true.  He believes that there is great danger outside and that The Force is Bad News. I believe that there is a whole side of the world that needs to be discovered. Well as of right know I have a phone call scheduled with Ellie for my stranded ten minutes which I get at the same time everyday. So I start heading down the hallway proceeding to the shoot. when I stop to look at myself in the mirror and all I see is darkness. I stand hear wearing these standardized clothes issued by the force which all people across all sections have to wear. The Uniform consists of a white t-shirt and black sweat pants along with white and black shoes. It looks depressing. As I'm continuing to my room i keep thinking about the outside and how this place; where I live, this underground with these tunnels, tunnels and tunnels, they never end. I cant believe that this place where I live was once called the empire state. but I know it as section 1. So beside section 1 and section 3 I don't know of any other former names of sections i just know them as their sections numbers which are 1 through 7. There are no classes there are no rich or poor people because everybody is treated the same. From wearing the same clothes to food and money given etc. When it comes to money, it is honestly a rarity to find money or be given money. the sections usually use what are ancestors call a bartering system where we trade food, rare items, or money if you have it. Or when the force comes to deliver just the essentials for living like food, hygiene products, clean clothes and to fix anything that needs fixing. Now as for the Force they live outside the sections but no one really knows where at least i don't. What i do know is that leader of the force General Red lives in the this place called the House. The reason we call him General Red is because of our ancestors. The reason is during the Great war General Red and the Force at his commend had slaughtered everyone that was a part of the revolution. But that's not the reason we are underground. The reason is our ancestors told us to stay in underground and that the force will protect us and we had came a custom to that and stayed underground. Sometimes i don't think that the general Red and the force are good people but i believe our ancestors. I just arrived at the shoot, this is a super fast elevator system that lets us travel through the tunnels of our section or sections but the only way to travel to other sections i would need a force lutanists key for access. As i step in the shoot the door closes firmly behind me, I strap myself in my seat then the shoot starts to rotate towards the destination, my room. Then im off moving at 275mph but i don't feel a thing as if im gliding through thin air. that's how image the outside. Feeling free. i know my ancestors said not to leave and that the force will keep you safe. I know the story I know what they want but i'm different I need change. I approach my destination and its only a couple more minutes to i'm in my room till im talking to Elie. There is one thing i love everyday which is talking to my phone friend Elie she reminds that there is hope in my dream of reaching of what we call the outside. it lets me know that there are people out there. That im not the only one. I also understand that beside Elie be extremely persasive, she understands me . it does not mean she agrees with wanted to leave but i know she understands. So I am seconds from my room when i hear the phone ring, so in a panic i run in my room and quickly shut the door behind me and pick up the phone.

What is a Life

This autistic shit conceives me but believe me I'm gonna be what I Need to be/ even when I breathe u see my blood freezin in me/ cuz this Autistic shit feels like it diseased my well being/so I will strive and achieve, people that don't see me for that can leave/ cuz I don't what to have to go ballistic and take out the statistics that show that I'm aurtistic/ cuz Im drivien by a vision that has that has
 imprisoned My brain and to u thats a change to me it's been the same./ looking at the world I see it differently, I see what it can be not what it can't/ the same goes for people cuz were all givin gifts and were all equal /but they don't get a squeal /so don't judge on what u see not even what I read cuz u never what a person can be/ but we all deserve the  same level of respect don't ever neglect/ cuz When people look at me I felt like I was nothin and that I was runnin from somethin/ I was jumpin and screamin but never stop believin/ cuz u got to stay hungry u got to stay feinin to keep climbin n stayin a live n shinin/but still be buildin that wisdom ur crurism  which is differnt for some but u got to keep rising the bar to the day that ur done no matter where ur from

Where'd we go

Just wanna change the universe with one verse so we can up lifted from these curse./ of hatred the ignorance lets help people brighten their intelligence/ showing some benevolence becoming excellent making excellence/ finding r element ending the helplessness were better then then this/and to find the key to success we must dig deep down in our self and find any hope that's left/ never leave the past cuz it will come back to haunt real fast/ but we grow like grass the growth is slow but on task/ meaning it takes a little while to find out who we really are/ so we can change for the better together forever. x2
